Lynne Smith brings many years of Geriatric Care Management experience to The Anchorage. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Service in 1983 and obtained her Social Work license two years later. Lynne has been an Idaho resident for 30+ years; raised her family here, and enjoys many outdoor activities abundant in the Gem State.
Prior to opening The Anchorage, Lynne spent 14 years with a Boise non-profit Senior Service agency. Here, she conducted hundreds of home assessments, supervised other social workers and managed the Client Services Program.
Lynne has an extensive knowledge of local community resources as well as experience with the medical community that will contribute to your loved one’s continuity of care. She serves adults with disabilities as well as seniors. She is an Advanced Aging Life Care Professional™ and a Board Certified Case Manager.
Lynne attempts to exhibit compassion, understanding and knowledge while serving seniors and their families. Her goal is to build a trusting relationship with her clients to help empower them towards a better quality of life. As a Social Worker, she believes each of us are multi-faceted, unique individuals who deserve personalized, dignified care, no matter what age or stage of life we find ourselves. Lynne’s goal is to help the senior feel valued and supported, not only with their medical needs, but socially and emotionally as well.
